Szoboszlai has given an update on his health during the pause while he heals from a hamstring ailment.

Due to a hamstring injury, Hungarian midfielder Szoboszlai has missed two games, and Klopp said earlier this

month that he was unclear of when the player would be ready to play again.

Although he doesn’t seem to be participating in full training just yet, he should be back in the mix for Liverpool’s

post-winter fixtures.

Pep Lijnders, the assistant coach at Liverpool, said he will be out for “a few weeks” due to injury.

Klopp has been eager to downplay rumors that Robertson will be making a comeback this month.

Because of a shoulder injury that necessitated surgery in October, Liverpool has not yet allowed the Scottish

defender to return to full training.

Three months were said to be the recovery period at the time, and the club said that he will shortly “get checked by

the surgeon” for progress.

“He will go to Dubai for a week to do proper volume sessions, proper sessions, so that will be good for him,” Lijnders

stated, “if he does that scan and we see everything [so] that we can really progress him.” The three-month mark scan

is next, and after that, we can gauge how quickly he can get back in touch.”

Tsimikas hasn’t played since shortly before Christmas due to a broken collarbone, which he sustained during the

Premier League draw with Arsenal.

By the end of the month, Liverpool hopes to have the Greek defender back in the training fold.

Possible date of return: February 2024

Early in December, Matip underwent successful surgery for a significant knee injury, according to the club.

The center back’s Merseyside contract will expire at the end of the season if he misses any more games.

Possible time of return: 2024 summer

Thiago’s comeback from injury has encountered numerous obstacles, and he is still not ready to play this season.

It was disclosed earlier this month by assistant manager Lijnders that a return to training is anticipated for the

following month.
