Even though Javion Hilson, a 2025 blue-chip defensive lineman, transferred from Alabama to Florida State football,
the team gained a player at the expense of the Crimson Tide.

Hilson, a 6-3.5, 225-pound student at Cocoa High School in Florida, with a high four-star rating of 98 on the
247Sports Composite List. According to the websites, he is ranked 47th in his class (7th best EDGE prospect and 6th
best player in FL).
Before unexpectedly committing to Alabama in the first week of December, he was thought to be a Florida State lean.
However, the Seminole staff never gave up on his being recruited, and it paid off handsomely on Tuesday, a day after
Nick Saban declared his retirement and Norvell turned down Alabama to remain in Tallahassee.

Hilson joins linebacker Ethan Pritchard, offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, and quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. as
the fourth member of #Tribe25.

State has added to the portal thus far this summer, have brought us another episode of Florida State of Recruiting.
