On Tuesday, USA Basketball announced the 12-man roster that will represent the nation in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The program recognized forty-one players. Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson were four of the guys. Adebayo and Team USA earned the gold medal at the 2020 Olympics. Over three competitions, the center has made 11 appearances for his nation. His averages were 4.9 rebounds and 6.7 points.
Butler supported Team USA in winning gold at the Summer Olympics in 2016. During America’s run at the podium, he averaged 5.6 points per game in eight games.
Herro was a member of the 2021 USA Basketball Select Team, which trained with the national team of the country, although he has never played for Team USA. This NBA season is the guard’s greatest one to date. Herro’s point average per game is a career high of 22. Robinson has never before been connected to USA Basketball. He and Herro, in fact, are two of the few players on the list who have never been chosen for an NBA All-Star team In addition, Robinson is having one of his best professional seasons to date. He has been a vital member of the Heat this season, scoring 13.7 points per game on average.
In each of the last four Summer Olympics, the USA has won Gold. In Paris, a 12-man squad will try to win another gold medal in the Olympics. The July 26 games begin.
