Rajon Rondo, the former guard for the Bulls, was taken into custody on Monday on misdemeanor charges of
unauthorized possession of a pistol, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to a statement from the Indiana
State Police and court records obtained by Louisville TV station WDRB.

ISP spokeswoman Sgt. Stephen Wheeles told the TV station that Rondo, 37, was pulled over on Sunday in Jackson
County, Indiana, for a traffic infraction after a trooper detected the smell of marijuana. Rondo played for the Bulls
from 2016–17.
Wheeles informed the station that a search turned up a pistol and drug-related items. He added that Rondo was
brought to the jail and had to pay bail. WDRB stated that Rondo was subject to a no-contact order, which prohibited
him from owning a firearm.
