With one of the youngest teams in the NRL expected to debut this season, the Wests Tigers have a ton of potential
Fantasy gold miners.
WFB Solomon Alaimalo may also get a run; he is a strong player who appears to have Fantasy potential. Among their
players who begin the season with starting salaries under $300,000 are EDG Justin Matamua, HOK Tallyn Da Silva,
and HLF Latu Fainu.

John Bateman and Isaiah Papali’i, two of Benji Marshall’s team’s greatest <$800k EDG players, are also on the
roster and could rank in the top five for positional scoring once more.
Last season, John Bateman played a lot of defense and did so at a nearly 95% effectiveness rate, which produced a lot
of basic numbers and relatively few demerits. He’s a key member of this team and ought to play 80 minutes every
week. Despite his two tries and two line breaks from the previous season, he has more offensive ability. If you don’t
want to pay the extra money for David Fifita or J’maine Hopgood at EDG, he’s a really good alternative for $740k.

Rounds 1, 13, and 26. Many fantasy owners may decide to hold off on selecting Wests Tigers players when
assembling their starting roster if they are off to a slow start to the season. They then continue to play every week
until they are one of the seven teams eliminated from Round 13. For head-to-head leagues, their final bye in Round
26 comes at a terrible time because a grand final or preliminary final will almost certainly take place that week.
