Michigan football will have to cope with the coaching turnover on the defensive side of the ball, which might have a significant effect on recruitment. As of now, the Wolverines have done a fantastic job of retaining recruits, so Davis’ choice shouldn’t be seen as a catastrophic assessment of the program but rather as a fact of life for a club in transition attempting to make progress.
