BREAKING NEWS: Steelers Land Two Top Players in Latest Mock Draft…

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a number of positions in mind as they begin the summer. However, the 2024 NFL Draft

could provide them with a replacement for two of the voids on their roster.

The Steelers select standout cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and center Zach Frazier with their first two picks in the

most recent two-round mock draft from Pro Football Focus.

“The Steelers need to keep investing on cornerbacks, even if they selected a solid one in Joey Porter Jr. at the top of

the second round last year. Mitchell had a great Senior Bowl. He is athletic and skilled enough to play many different

schemes. If he advances this far, he will be highly valued on Pittsburgh’s board, but he might be selected higher than

this, according to Trevor Sikkema of PFF.

After a strong performance at the Senior Bowl, Mitchell is selected by the Steelers with the 20th pick. The Toledo

standout, who the organization spoke with while in Mobile, Alabama, is undoubtedly moving up the draft boards

following his outstanding performance.

Frazier is selected by them out of West Virginia with the 52nd overall.

Frazier may be the first player selected at the position because he is considered one of the best two centers in the

NFL Draft. Mason Cole’s deal will expire after the 2024 season, so the Steelers will have to decide at center.

The Steelers “absolutely love” Frazier, according to reports, which makes him a desirable candidate for Pittsburgh. It

makes perfect sense to fill their center position if he survives to play in the second round.
