A few days after All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, the Utah Jazz will play the first of their two games against the
Golden State Warriors this week on Monday night. This season, these two clubs will play for the first time as their
first game was postponed due to the untimely death of assistant coach Dejan Milojević.
The outcome of this one could have a significant impact on each team’s future aspirations of making it into the Play-
In. With a 26-27 record, one game below.500, the Jazz are ranked 11th in the Western Conference; the Warriors,
with a 25-25 record, are immediately in front of them. These are the games when the stakes usually get a little
greater as the regular season moves into its second half.

Prior to Monday’s game, both sides released their injury reports, and a few players from each team were listed.
Otto Porter of the Utah Jazz is QUESTIONABLE (foot).
Brice Sensabaugh: INQUISItive (smart)
The two-way Johnny Juzang is out.
Micah Potter: (two-way) OUT
Jason Preston: TWO-WAY OUT
Warriors of the Golden State: Chris Paul is out (hand)
Gui Santos: UNCERTAIN (knee)
Otto Porter Jr.’s ailing left foot may prevent the Jazz from making their most recent trade deadline acquisition.
Regarding Brice Sensabaugh, he is now recovering from a hip ailment. The availability of youngster Taylor
Hendricks is an important consideration going forward, especially in light of Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji’s recent
departures. Look for a significant increase in opportunities from the first year onward.

Regarding the Warriors, Chris Paul resumed working on his own last week after sustaining a hand injury, but it
appears that he won’t play in this game. Additionally, it appears like Steve Kerr, the head coach of Golden State, will
not be present because he is going to Serbia to attend Milojević’s burial.
The Jazz will try to start their home stretch with a much-needed victory to get back to.500 in this game, which gets
off at 7 PM MT in the Delta Center.
