Advisor for Red Bull Racing, Helmut Marko has made his first public statement since accusations against F1 team
owner Christian Horner surfaced.
As anticipated, though, he withheld any information regarding the current inquiry.
It was disclosed last week that Horner was the subject of an investigation following the accusation of “controlling
behavior” by a female Red Bull employee.
The charges are “completely denied” by Horner, the husband of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, who was questioned
for eight hours last Friday by a private attorney.

Red Bull had anticipated that the issue could be settled before its 2024 car was unveiled on Thursday night, but there
are rumors that the probe might drag on for a few more weeks.
The 50-year-old was at Silverstone on Tuesday as three-time champion Max Verstappen made his debut in his new
vehicle. She was seen laughing and joking with team colleagues.
Since releasing their original statement, which stated: “After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the
company launched an independent investigation,” Red Bull has refrained from making any public comments on the
situation.

A third-party professional barrister is handling this process, which has
already started. The business takes these issues very seriously, and the
inquiry will be finished as soon as it is viable to do so.
“At this point, it would not be appropriate to make any more
comments.”
On Wednesday, though, Marko—the team’s driver development
program head—was questioned about Horner’s expected attendance at the launch.
