NFL DRAFT: Raiders Move Up In NFL Draft And Ranking…

Owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Mark Davis, isn’t content to rest on his billions; he wants to see his team in the

Super Bowl and would stop at nothing to make it happen.

A lot of people think it’s inevitable that the Silver and Black will pick higher in the NFL Draft later this spring.

You’re right that it’s possible, even though I don’t think it’s inevitable right now.

However, a recent report—a MOCK Draft—written by my colleague Richie Bradshaw concurs with many who believe

it to be inevitable, although Bradshaw doesn’t have the same view—or perhaps I should say position—as others do.

It would be for a player who, in the opinion of many, transcends generations and has the ability to change the

Raiders squad for the ensuing ten years.

The choice is Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu. Trade:

Chicago is given selections 13 and 77.

The Bears are in on another deal, but this time it’s for a team that wants to make sure they acquire their player.

Fashanu is now struggling, and the Raiders’ offensive line is upgradeable outside of Kolton Miller. Putting him across

from Miller gives whoever plays under center in the upcoming season bookend tackles.

Even though owner Mark Davis has given general manager Tom Telesco and coach Antonio Pierce permission to

advance in the NFL Draft in order to improve the Silver and Black, some people would be surprised if they moved up

for offensive linemen, who are undoubtedly in need of a replacement. This year’s NFL Draft is sure to be a lot of fun.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25–27, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. The No. 13 overall pick is presently in the

hands of the Las Vegas Raiders.
