On Wednesday night, Steph Curry was just amazing against the LA Clippers. So much so that, in the process, he truly created history. Steph Curry is the first player in NBA history to make at least seven three-pointers in four straight games, according to Warriors PR. He finished with a 9/19 (47%) 3-point shooting percentage against the Clippers. Steph Curry finished the game with 41 points on 48/47/100 shooting.

Sadly for Curry and the Warriors, the majority of the starting lineup wasn’t very helpful to him. With a 40% shooting percentage, Andrew Wiggins scored 10 points, Draymond Green scored 9 points, and Klay Thompson scored 12 points on a 27% shooting percentage. Jonathan Kuminga was the lone starter to contribute significantly with Curry, finishing with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists on 46% shooting.
Aside from Curry, Brandin Podziemski was the Warriors’ best player, scoring 25 points, dishing out 8 assists, grabbing 7 rebounds, and shooting 75% from the field.

The Golden State Warriors were riding a five-game winning streak going into today. Throughout the stretch, they had demonstrated significantly improved basketball performance, but they were unable to overcome their season-long failure to close games. After the Warriors and Clippers got into a fight in the fourth quarter, the Warriors’ performance quickly declined and the Clippers took the lead again. The Golden State Warriors are still in the Play-in round with a 26-26 record and 1.5 games ahead of the 11th spot despite the setback.
