Heat’s Haywood Highsmith: Scores 16 points off the bench for Rotowire in only one HRS ago.
In 36 minutes, Highsmith scored 16 points (5-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), grabbed two rebounds, gave one assist, blocked one shot, and stole two steals in Wednesday’s 109-104 victory over the 76ers.
It was Highsmith’s first double-digit score since the Celtics on January 25. With Josh Richardson (shoulder), Terry Rozier (knee), and Jimmy Butler (personal) out of the game on Wednesday, he played for 36 minutes. When Butler returns to action following the All-Star break, Highsmith’s role will probably shrink.
Bam Adebayo of the Heat: Double-double against Philadelphia Rotowire -1 HRS AGO
In 39 minutes, Adebayo recorded 23 points (9–14 FG, 5–5 FT), 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the 109–104 victory over the 76ers on Wednesday.
Although Adebayo and Tyler Herro shared the scoring lead, the former made an impact on both ends of the court with two steals and ten defensive rebounds. Adebayo is now one double-double shy of his 2022–2023 season record with thirty for the year. In February, he’s averaging 11.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 18.4 points on 56.3 percent shooting.
Duncan Robinson of the Heat: Five threes against the Sixers Rotowire -1 HRS AGO
In just 33 minutes, Robinson finished with 20 points (7-11 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, four assists, and one steal in a 109-104 victory over Philadelphia on Wednesday.
Due to injuries, Jimmy Butler (personal) and Terry Rozier (knee) missed Wednesday’s game, therefore Robinson started the game for the second straight night. Robinson seized the chance to score more than twenty points in back-to-back games, and he led the Heat in three-pointers made during the victory. After the All-Star break, Robinson will probably return to the bench when Butler comes back.
