RIGHT IN: Warriors’ Draymond goes full Shaq in epic comeback…

After Draymond Green responded with a Shaquille O’Neal-like play, Charles Barkley’s attempt to ridicule him backfired hilariously.

Barkley gave Green a backhanded complement on Sunday during their broadcast of the NBA All-Star Game, calling him a “hell of a player” and then wished him “good luck in the Play-In.”

Warriors' Draymond Green reinstated to play for the NBA

At first, Green couldn’t say anything as he tried to figure out if Chuck was complimenting him or making fun of him. The Warriors forward realized at that moment, as Taylor Rooks laughed at it, that the NBA icon was making fun of him in the midst of the Dubs’ 2023–24 season problems.
However, Green made sure to respond even funnier, pointing out that while Barkley doesn’t have a ring, he does. Traditional Shaq trolling. Charles Barkley, sadly, has no way of responding to that, as everyone has discovered over the previous few years. The NBA icon is, after all, among the greatest players to never have won a championship. As previously indicated, Shaq constantly brings that up to Chuck whenever they argue or make fun of one another on TNT’s NBA broadcasts. For his part, Green has seen enough of the show to be able to silence Barkley.

Still, Barkley deserves praise for his clever jab at Draymond Green. The reminder would be much appreciated by the Warriors star, who plans to seriously pursue a postseason run in 2023–2024. With a 27-26 record, the Dubs are in 10th place going into the All-Star break. To escape the Play-In tournament, they must finish as the sixth seed.
