This season, the Golden State Warriors have experienced a lot.
More than ever, Stephen Curry has expressed his dissatisfaction, and it appeared as though they were prepared to
make a significant move before the trade deadline.

They made an unsuccessful attempt to accomplish so by chasing LeBron James.
Therefore, former NBA player Timothy Legler simply cannot see the team winning anything in the playoffs given
that they would be playing with the same core throughout the most important part of the season.
Legler said on ESPN’s Get Up that a defeat in the first round of the playoffs would be the Warriors’ best-case
scenario for the season, while a loss in the Play-in Tournament would be their worst.
It’s not really a hot take.
The Los Angeles Lakers outmatched the Warriors after they struggled to defeat the Sacramento Kings in the
opening round of the previous campaign.
Notably, it might be argued that the Warriors aren’t necessarily a superior team because they have suffered more
this season than they did last.

On the other hand, rookie SG Brandon Podziemski has also proven to be fairly vital for them, while Jonathan
Kuminga has made a significant improvement.
With Klay Thompson coming off the bench, they may be getting closer to Chris Paul’s comeback and gain some
much-needed balance.
Although the Warriors don’t now appear to be a serious candidate for a title, they have often shown their skeptics
wrong, so it will never be wise to back against them.
