INCREDIBLE: Mavericks star makes incredible NBA history in win over Heat…

Thursday’s 114-108 victory over the Miami Heat by the Dallas Mavericks extended Luka Doncic’s amazing recent hot

streak.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Doncic’s four straight games with a triple-double while scoring 35 points or more

make it the greatest stretch of that kind in NBA history.

Who wins the Luka Doncic vs. Bam Adebayo matchup in tonight's game?
Doncic was the team’s leader at home, scoring a game-high 35 points on 12-of-24 shooting from the field and 7-of-13

from three, along with 11 rebounds and assists.

In the final minutes, Doncic fulfilled his statistical expectations as well, making multiple clutch baskets to help the

Mavericks end a three-game losing run. Dallas improves to 34-28, behind the Phoenix Suns (36-26) by just two

games for sixth place in the Western Conference rankings.

Doncic not only made history but also tied Russell Westbrook (2017) for the most 30-point triple-doubles ever in his

fifth consecutive game.

Doncic ranks third in the league in assists (9.8) per game and leads the league in scoring (34.6). But his current run

of brilliance surpasses that. He is virtually averaging a 35-point triple-double every night over the past 15 games,

with 34.4 points, 10.4 assists, and 10.0 rebounds since February 3.

According to StatMuse, Doncic’s effort on Thursday was his eighth 35-point triple-double, two more than the entire

NBA combined.

After yet another incredible performance, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd referred to Doncic as “special,” likening

his almost limitless capacity for scoring to that of Hall of Famers like Miller Reggie.

Kidd stated, “We can’t take that young man for granted,” according to Bally Sports Southwest. “You’re seeing

something as rare as a Picasso when he comes every night he does something.”
