Russell Wilson has accepted to a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the team will attempt to address
a need with a player Wilson is accustomed to.
A report from uStadium states that the Steelers have shown interest in signing Broncos center Lloyd Cushenberry.
Mason Cole, Pittsburgh’s starting center, was released, leaving a gap in the interior of the offensive line.

Cushenberry, a 2020 LSU player selected in the third round, has started every one of the 57 games in which he has
played since joining the Broncos. Only twice in his career has he fumbled, and that was in his first year.
Although Cushenberry started just eight games in Wilson’s first season in Denver, he was the team’s starting center
for the previous two years.
With James Daniels and Nate Herbig now the top choices for the Steelers at center, he would likely be a plug-and-
play option for the team straight away.

For the upcoming season, OverTheCap.com estimates that Cushenberry’s market worth will be $10.23 million. This
season marked the end of his rookie contract.
