The Philadelphia Eagles have spent the first few days of free agency making a ton of headline moves. Next season,
the roster will be entirely revamped. One of their best defensive lineman seemed to send a farewell message to the
club and supporters on Tuesday, even though the team signed one of the biggest free agents in Saquon Barkley. Josh
Sweat, a pro bowler, appears to be aware that he would be traded by the team.

Philly did add Bryce Huff and Saquon in the offseason after several of the team’s legends retired. Bryce is not good
news for Josh Sweat, a Pro Bowl player. According to reports, the organization has already had a lot of inquiries from
NFL teams looking to trade for Sweat.
Sweat appeared to bid farewell to the squad and the supporters on Instagram as trade rumors about him have been
intensifying. He wrote, using the emoji for praying hands, “I will miss you all.”
John Clark, an Eagles writer, also mentioned that the organization is looking for a trade partner for the Pro Bowl
defense. It’s possible to argue that the 26-year-old defender is still in his prime. The team who acquires him will gain
a very good defensive end who, with this next contract, probably will enter his prime. During his 49 starts with the
Eagles, Sweat recorded 35 sacks and seven forced fumbles.
The fourth-round selection has performed admirably during his whole tenure in Philadelphia. The Pro Bowler had a
bit of a down year last season, but he would be a valuable addition to any team that needed a strong defensive end
who could pressure the passer and run.
