Derrick Henry, the legendary running back, has formally signed a new contract. The former second-round selection

played for the Tennessee Titan in 2023. Derrick Henry, a seasoned NFL running back, has agreed to a new deal with

the Baltimore Ravens. Henry played his  entire career for the Tennessee Titans, where he was a four-time Pro Bowler

and a one-time First-Team All-Pro.

workhorse running back. The 29-year-old concluded the season with a league-leading 280 carries for 1,167 yards and

12 touchdowns, having started in all 17 games. Henry accomplished all of this in spite of the league’s worst offensive

line play and a mediocre passing offense with only one genuine wide receiver threat.

In the 2016 NFL Draft, Henry was selected in the second round to make his NFL debut. The Alabama graduate, who

was selected by the Tennessee Titans, split snaps behind DeMarco Murray in his early career. One of the most lethal

one-two punches in football was constructed by the two, and Derrick Henry concluded his rookie campaign with 490

running yards and five touchdowns on 110 carries. In 2018, after supporting Murray for yet another season, Derrick

Henry was given the opportunity to shine. Henry assumed command of the starting backfield and concluded his

third league season with 1,059 running yards and 12 touchdowns on 215 carries. Much of this output was generated

later in the year, which resulted in numerous fantasy football titles.

In 2019, the running back demonstrated that his late-season rise was not an anomaly. After Ryan Tannehill replaced

Marcus Mariota, Derrick Henry saw his finest season to date. The Alabama graduate led the league in carries (303),

running yards (1,540), and touchdowns (16) while starting and participating in 15 games and leading Tennessee to

the AFC Championship Game. In 2020, he managed to surpass this feat by amassing 2,027 running yards and 17

touchdowns on 378 rush attempts.

Derrick Henry has made 88 starts in 119 games since signing his rookie contract. The running back has amassed

9,502 rushing yards and 90 rushing touchdowns on 2,030 carries while on the field.
