Although the Kansas City Chiefs have targeted winning three straight Super Bowls, every club must make personnel
improvements over the offseason. Although they are concentrated on the attacking end of the ball, the Chiefs are
hardly an exception.
After a dismal 2023 season, Kansas City’s pass catchers are looking to add more dependable players who can make
an impact. The Chiefs cut wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling earlier in the summer.

Kansas City is looking to add players this week as free agency gets underway. They are allegedly interested in signing
former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd, but they are locked in a bidding battle with the Pittsburgh
Steelers and New York Jets.
Boyd joined the league in 2016 and has been a reliable playmaker for the Bengals ever since. He runs the route with
precision and has powerful hands at the catch point.
Boyd has a talent for establishing distance, making him a valuable asset in an attack with Travis Kelce and Patrick
Mahomes. But before they can bring him to town, they might have to come up with a little more cash.
Boyd has caught 513 passes for 6,000 yards and 31 touchdowns in his eight-year career, including two seasons in
which he surpassed 1,000 receiving yards.
With 44 drops in 2023, the Chiefs lead the NFL, and Boyd would greatly contribute to that number falling.
With one of the league’s top teams, Kansas City has a strong chance of making it to Super Bowl LIX. At +600, they
now have the second-best odds to win the whole competition in the NFL. Visit FanDuel Sportsbook, get your sign-up
