Superstar Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is being cautious with his most recent ankle injury because he
doesn’t want to risk making it worse during the most crucial part of the season.
Following Friday’s practice in Los Angeles, Curry told reporters, “You can’t fast-forward or cheat the healing
process.” Some people aren’t sure if they should just deal with the discomfort or try to push through it without
making it worse.
Before he became a superstar, Curry had ankle problems early in his NBA career. He is aware of how difficult this
kind of injury can be, particularly for someone like him who is always moving on the floor.
“I have experienced various kinds of injuries, and this particular one had a specific duration for my ankle to heal,”
Curry added. “After that, work on the court a little bit to regain strength. Although missing games can be difficult,
you have to realize that things cannot get worse. particularly considering the season we’re in at the moment.
Curry has missed the last three games for the Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr, though, is upbeat about their best player
playing in a pivotal game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, March 16. Five days after spraining his right
ankle late in their March 7 home defeat to the Chicago Bulls, Curry resumed on-court training on Tuesday, March 12.
Curry recently attended the Santa Cruz Warriors’ practice on March 13 while they were in Dallas, according to Kerr.
It is his first practice with the team since the injury on Friday in Los Angeles.
The Warriors have lost all three games this season sans Curry and have only won once since he went down with the
injury.
Curry should return against the Lakers, according to what Kerr told reporters, according to Sam Gordon of The San
Francisco Chronicle.
That is the strategy. It feels good to be back on the team. Curry told reporters, “Good energy going,” according to
Gordon.
Throughout his career, Curry has averaged 22.3 points, 7.2 assists, and 4.9 rebounds versus the Lakers, according to
Statmuse.

Despite their recent slide, Kerr remains optimistic about their playoff chances.
“The season it really is a marathon,” Kerr told reporters following their 109-99 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on
Wednesday, March 12. “I still have no doubt that this team can get on a great run and make a good push.”
