The Mexican driver clarified that there are far higher demands in dominating Formula One teams than there are in
other places.
Having finished in second position twice as far in the 2024 season, Checo Perez is aware that his job at Red Bull is in
jeopardy.
Perez has been candid about his Achilles heel, which is still qualifying, which means he is still under pressure from
the squad.
Max Verstappen started pole in both the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia races, where he started fifth and third,
respectively. He did not shine on those two Saturdays, but he also did not spoil his weekends, performing well
enough to remain in the hunt.
He made progress the following day, and that was sufficient to put him behind the unbeatable Max Verstappen. With
36 points, he is ranked second overall. Put another way, he behind his teammate by 15 points, who is sure to win a
fourth championship in a row.
Whatever the case, his start has made him more composed. Checo knows that the Milton Keynes team is unique in
this sense, and he would be under pressure right now if he hadn’t succeeded. When questioned about the problem

succeeded in surviving here for a reason. This team is under more strain. The expectations at Red Bull are distinct
from those of the other teams.”
He has seen everything in the circus at the age of 34, but it hasn’t all been for nothing.
He competed for Sauber, McLaren, Force India, and Racing Point (Force India rebranded) prior to joining Red Bull
in 2021. Checo is limited to what he can do, which is to “give his all” and “prepare as best he can.” He knows he has
to make an effort to perform his duties flawlessly.
