With star quarterback Joe Burrow having the advantage of being able to pass to wide receivers Tee Higgins and
Ja’Marr Chase on a weekly basis during the season, the Cincinnati Bengals boast one of the strongest receiving corps
in the NFL.
Nevertheless, Higgins was recently franchise-tagged by the organization and, although he will receive a high salary
next season, was not thrilled about not being able to test NFL free agency in order to secure a long-term deal. As a
result, it appears like the excellent tandem may not remain in Cincinnati for very long.
Nevertheless, given that former NFL star wide receiver DeSean Jackson recently stirred up controversy on Up &
Adams with Kay Adams on a possible trade at the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, the Bengals may decide to trade
Higgins during this NFL offseason.
“Do you want me to share what I hear with you all the time?” stated Jackson.
It’s still unclear if Jackson came up with this concept or if he genuinely knows something about the circumstances in
Cincinnati, but given all the wide receiver talent that will be available, it does seem plausible that the Bengals could
move up in the draft and use Higgins as a trade chip.
Higgins caught 42 catches for 656 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 12 games during the 2023 NFL season.

Surprisingly, statistically speaking, that was Higgins’ weakest season to date. However, he did miss five games in the
regular season, so things might have been different had he and Burrow played more this previous campaign.
