BREAKING NEWS: Kristian Fulton rejected Bengals’ offer to sign with Chargers…

It appears that the Cincinnati Bengals were considering signing a cornerback during the free agent class.

Former Tennessee Titans player Kristian Fulton just agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. It appears that he wants to succeed in 2024 and make money the following year. For a player who has missed 23 games during his four seasons with the Chargers, this makes sense.

However, he reportedly received offers from other organizations, including the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, and Bengals, before he signed his contract.

Along with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, Fulton—who was picked out of LSU in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft—won a national championship. Although Fulton, 25, is a decent size player with a bright future in the NFL, injuries have kept him from playing to his full potential thus far.

During his tenure with Tennessee, the cornerback started 37 games, totaling 150 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, and 25 passes defensed. He had a fantastic game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and George Pickens the previous year, limiting the receiver to two receptions for minus-one yards.

He will now strive to move up to the Chargers squad and seize Asante Samuel Jr.’s starting job.
