Orlando Brown Jr., the preferred free agent signing of the Cincinnati Bengals, is an offensive tackle who may not
surprise many.
Vonn Bell is it.
Although Brown claims he hasn’t yet played with Bell, he is aware of his suitability for the Bengals having heard a lot
about him from other players.

Brown stated, “I haven’t even been around Vonn Bell, and he’s my favorite pickup,” as reported by Bengals.com’s
Geoff Howard. “A young guy like (safety) Jordan Battle finds it easier as he learns to be a pro when you bring in a guy
like Vonn Bell.” ..
Considering Bell’s standing prior to his departure via free agency in the previous season, this is presumably a widely
held belief among the team.
One of the main benefits of Bell’s return to assist a faltering secondary is what Brown outlines.

Ironically, like many fans, Brown’s favorite addition may have been Sheldon Rankins; however, Bell’s selection was
also influenced by the reality that he will face the new defensive lineman throughout the summer in one way or
another.
