As part of offseason stadium enhancements, a new FieldTurf CORE system will be put in a continuous effort to keep
Paycor Stadium in the best possible condition.
The decision was made following a comprehensive evaluation process that took into account the leading companies
in the artificial turf market, cooperation with the NFL and its testing specifications, as well as specialists in stadium
design and football.
In accordance with NFL guidelines, a monofilament product was chosen based on player safety and performance
statistics.
Paycor Stadium Managing Director Steve Johnson stated, “Hamilton County and the Bengals are committed to
providing a top-notch playing surface for NFL games, and this step confirms that commitment.” “The field will be
installed in time for the entire 2024 NFL season.”
FieldTurf, which was the stadium’s surface from 2004 to 2011, will returning for this one.
With this update, the Bengals join the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New
York Jets, New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks as the eighth NFL team to entrust FieldTurf, a best-in-class
provider, with their home field.

“We feel privileged to be back in Cincinnati and continue our incredibly fruitful collaboration,” stated Eric Daliere,
President of Tarkett North America and Tarkett Sports. “FieldTurf’s steadfast commitment to provide the best
possible performance and innovation is demonstrated by this endeavor. Our local and national teams, who have
regional offices in Ohio, are excited to be the go-to source for such a legendary franchise once more.”
