There are unanswered concerns over the Golden State Warriors’ plans for the upcoming season in light of their
elimination from the playoffs. After winning the 2024 Clutch Player of the Year award, Steph Curry, a top player for
the Warriors, discussed Golden State’s future and this disappointing season during an interview on TNT’s Inside the
NBA.

“The sad part was just missing three wins to get out of the play-in and have yourself in a playoff series,” Curry stated.
“In the playoffs, even a game like the one we had in Sacramento during the play-in tournament, you’re like, ‘Okay,
we’re down one and can game plan to try to get back into the series.'”
You do know that we’re not that far off, even if we obviously made a lot of mistakes early in the year and had some
absences. There will be adjustments in order to maintain this level, this peak, for an extended period of time.
Regarding those adjustments, Curry continued, “You have to ask yourself, ‘What can we do to improve?’ after a loss.
What gaps need to be filled?

We have some time to find that out, thank goodness. There have been numerous talks with coach Kerr and those
upstairs to try to figure out how to get back to the standard we demand. I was unable to provide a particular
response, but we will work through it this summer.
